In an Australian first for the health insurance industry, HCF and HICAPS have today launched a QR code based, digital membership card which will allow HCF members to use a unique, machine-scannable image to claim on-the-spot at healthcare providers across the country.
Jointly developed by HCF - Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund - and HICAPS, Australia's leading healthcare claiming solution, QR code claiming is a mobile agnostic, contactless and user-friendly system, exclusively accessible through HICAPS’ new Trinity payment terminals.

TUH introduces digital membership cards for android phone members
TUH Health Fund and its sister company Union Health have developed new digital technology for its members in the form of a digital membership card. TUH members can now ‘tap and claim’, using their android phone on HICAPS terminals instead of swiping a plastic card.
