We spoke to John Bradshaw, from New Energy Physiotherapy, and asked him to talk to us about one meaningful or practical change you’ve implemented in your practice in 2026 that has made a positive impact?
John’s focus is on refining the client experience, so care feels personal, responsive and genuinely supportive. It’s a practical goal grounded in long-term community connection and a commitment to putting patients first.
For 2026, our meaningful focus is to continue refining the client experience in a practical and personal way. We are a small boutique medical operation that is laser focused on being present, available, and responsive to the needs of our clients and the Docklands community.
Why personalised care still matters
What has inspired this is the ongoing importance of personalised healthcare. Patients are increasingly looking for practitioners who not only provide clinical expertise, but who also understand their time pressures, listen properly, and deliver care in a way that feels efficient, professional, and supportive.
The problem we are trying to solve is the tendency for healthcare to become too transactional or impersonal. Our goal is to preserve a highly personalised experience while continuing to improve the way we communicate, manage appointments, and support patients through recovery.
Our first step in 2026 is to keep improving the systems around the patient journey, from the first point of contact through to treatment, follow up, and ongoing care. We want every client to feel that their time, goals, and concerns are properly understood.
I believe this will have a positive impact on our patients, staff, and community by creating a more consistent and supportive healthcare experience. We are nearing 20 years in the same Docklands location, and I think that longevity confirms that we are meeting the needs of the community and continuing to provide value.
