HICAPS NDIS Invoice Anyone

The solution allows providers to process claims and payments for plan-managed participants and agency-managed participants.

The HICAPS NDIS Invoice Anyone solution allows you to:

  • Invoice Plan Managers directly
  • Invoice the NDIA directly
  • Easily create and submit digital invoices using a template from any device
  • Track the status of invoices and get better visibility of all paid invoices
  • Save participant details, removing the need to re-enter information when submitting a new invoice
  • Reduce your payment cycle

In combination with a HICAPS Terminal (for self-managed participants), HICAPS can now provide a complete solution to any disability service provider for all NDIS participant types.

Anyone who treat NDIS participants and NDIS related supports, including allied health, therapeutic supports, transport, home and garden maintenance, equipment etc

Registered NDIS Providers can submit invoices to Plan Managers and the NDIS*

Non-registered Providers can submit invoices to Plan Managers only.

*in order to submit invoices to the NDIS, a provider needs to be registered with the NDIS

Providers with a HICAPS digital account can use plan managed invoicing straight away, if not you can create an account here HICAPS (lanternpay.com) it’s a quick process, all you need is an ABN and a valid bank account.

Currently the invoice status only updates for agency managed claims.

We are working on extending this to Plan Managed invoices soon. 

Providers will typically get paid within 48 hours.

This is also dependent on the Plan Manager.

Settlement will be to the nominated bank account.  For agency managed invoices, the NDIA will settle directly with the bank account they have registered with the NDIA.  

For Plan Managers we'll use the account that the provider has nominated

The HICAPS NDIS Invoice Anyone solution currently caters for Plan Managed and NDIA-managed participants.

We are working on extending our digital solution to self-managed participants in the future.

In the meantime, providers can use the HICAPS terminal for self-managed participants. 

The MyPlace portal only allows registered providers to submit agency managed claims.

The HICAPS solutions allows both registered and non-registered providers* to submit plan managed and agency managed claims all from the one portal.

*in order to submit Agency managed claims/invoices to the NDIS, a provider needs to be registered with the NDIA
