HICAPS Mobile is perfect for practitioners on the go, allowing you to process claims and payments from multiple practices via a 3G network.

Like our regular terminals, HICAPS Mobile terminals accept all major credit and debit cards, while also being able to process contactless payments. You can also have up to 50 providers loaded onto the terminal, and process payments to 25 different bank accounts.

Benefits and trade-offs of HICAPS Mobile

While HICAPS Mobile is great for practitioners on the go, it’s important to note that it doesn’t have the same functionality as our fixed terminals.

Mobile terminals use GPRS, meaning you can take your terminal between practices. Not all funds allow mobile claims processing. See health funds that can process claims on a HICAPS Mobile terminal.
When placed on a docking station that’s plugged into an ethernet line, your HICAPS Mobile terminal works like a fixed terminal. Unlike our fixed terminals, HICAPS Mobile is unable to integrate with any practice management systems.
