AHM to process claims only for same day service via HICAPS

From 1st December, 2014 AHM will no longer accept claims via HICAPS that are not same day. This means you will no longer have the ability to back date a claim transaction for your patients.  The claim will only be successfully processed if it is processed on the day of treatment.

We believe this change in processing will affect a very small percentage of claims only. The majority of claims will be processed as normal and will not be affected by this change in any way.

If circumstances prevent your AHM patients from making a claim via the terminal on the day of service, they still will be able to claim by using one of their standard claim channels - Online Membership Services via our website, smart phone applications, mail or in person at a retail centre.

For further information visit www.ahm.com.au

Medibank Private to process claims only for same day service via HICAPS

If circumstances prevent your Medibank patients from making a claim via the terminal on the day of service, they still will be able to claim by using one of their standard claim channels - Online Membership Services via our website, smart phone applications, mail or in person at a retail centre.
