  • EFTPOS functionality with the terminal is an optional feature available at no extra rental charge through National Australia Bank*.  All in one, easy to use unit.
  • Multi-Merchant facility which enable multiple account settlement.
  • Practice Management System (PMS)/HICAPS interface  - linking your front desk PC/software to the HICAPS terminal.  This interface provides the ability to process HICAPS & EFTPOS** transactions via your PMS software.
  • HICAPS Payment & Reconciliation solution. HICAPS, on behalf of a number of health funds that are participating in a new Payment & Reconciliation solution, will credit one amount on each settlement day that represents the consolidated total of all of the HICAPS claims you have processed for those health funds.

             This solution helps reduce the number of:

    • deposits to your bank account, and
    • statements received from health funds
  • HICAPS Account Online allows you to view your HICAPS transactions and payments online and provides flexible reporting on demand.  That is, provides the ability to change online statement frequency to daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, whatever suits you.
  • Authorisation of the claim takes place on the spot in a matter of seconds.
  • The HICAPS network is functional 24 hours 7 days. The hours of operation for health funds accepting HICAPS claims vary from fund to fund.
